CUCAT 2025 will facilitate admission to various postgraduate (PG) and integrated PG programs, including MAs in Economics, English Language and Literature, Comparative Literature, MAs in Biosciences, Physics, Chemistry, and LLM with a double major, among others.
The application process will be conducted online. Candidates must register, provide personal and academic information, and upload documents such as their 10th and 12th grade transcripts, undergraduate transcripts, and a passport-sized photograph. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 45% of the overall grade in 12th grade, awarded by a recognized board (e.g., the Kerala State Board) for integrated programs, and a relevant bachelor's degree for postgraduate courses.
Reserved category candidates could benefit from a reduced fee. Based on previous trends, the application fee is expected to be approximately Rs 500 for general candidates and lower for SC/ST applicants.
The CUCAT 2025 exams are scheduled for May 6, 7, and 8, 2025. They will be conducted in person, with multiple-choice and descriptive questions, depending on the course. Admit cards will be available 15 days beforehand, and results are expected to be released in July 2025, followed by an orientation session in August. Since the University of Calicut admits nearly 300,000 students annually, competition is high, so early preparation is crucial.
