CUET UG 2025 (Postponed) LIVE: NTA to hold exam from May 13; city slip, admit card date

NEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Examination – Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025) has been postponed, according to a TOI report. The CUET UG 2025 exam will begin on May 13, with a five-day delay. Candidates will soon be able to check the official NTA notification regarding the revised CUET UG 2025 exam schedule, city voucher, and admit card release date on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

With nearly 130,000 entries, the CUET exam for admission to undergraduate education in central, state, private, and other participating universities has become the second-largest entrance exam in India. Applicants have demanded clarification on the date of issuance of the CUET admit card, as there has been no official confirmation from the NTA regarding the issuance of the municipal admit card or the postponement.

The CUET exam for undergraduate education will be conducted through a computer-based test (CBT) for 37 subjects, including 13 languages, 23 specific subjects, and a general aptitude test. The postponement of the CUET exam could delay the undergraduate admissions process and the academic calendar of participating universities. Since the implementation of the CUET in 2022, several faculty members have expressed concern about the delay in admissions.

CUET UG 2025: Highlights

The CUET 2025 exam will consist of 50 questions per test. All questions are mandatory. Students must complete them within one hour.
