CUET UG 2025: Final Chance to Register – Check Eligibility & Changes

NTA CUET UG 2025 application form date has been released at cuet.nta.nic.in. Now, candidates can apply for CUET UG. The examination will be held for 23 domain subjects, 13 languages, and a general aptitude test. The CUET 2025 examination will be held on May 08, 2025, in CBT mode.

CUET UG 2025 Registration deadline

CUET UG 2025 application closes on March 22, 2025. CUET UG 2025 registration is available at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates should pay CUET fees online by March 23, 2025. Candidates should submit their application after applying online and satisfying the eligibility criteria for CUET for admission in the academic year 2025-26. Candidates are advised to study CUET mapping criteria carefully at the time of submission of the CUET application form. Applicants can now select a maximum of five CUET subjects and four test centers.

NTA has issued CUET official notification 2025. Applicants can now verify the CUET 2025 modifications, bringing deletion of CUET UG subjects, alteration of the mode of examination, uniformity of duration, and number of questions in subjects. The subjects that the CUET exam will be covering are decreased to 37 (13 languages, 23 CUET domain subjects, and general test) from 63. The removed subjects are 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects (Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, and Engineering Graphics). The CUET UG 2025 examination will be conducted from May 08 to June 01, 2025, in CBT mode. The official CUET UG notification has been announced, referring to the CUET UG 2025 important dates. CUET scores will be used by 304 universities, such as central, private, and deemed universities.

CUET UG 2025 eligibility criteria

The CUET UG 2025 eligibility criteria are as follows.

1. The students must have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognized board.

2. General category students need to score a minimum of 50% in score Class 12 board examination.

3. Reserved category students need to score a minimum of 45% in Class 12.

4. CUETUG2025doesnothaveanagelimit.

5. The applicants should be citizens of India. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply for CUET UG 2025.

CUET UG 2025: Changes

UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar made some changes in CUET UG 2025, following the expert panel's suggestions.

1. Aspirants can attempt the CUET UG 2025 exam in any subject, regardless of their Class 12 subjects.
2. CUET UG 2025 will be held online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
3. CUET UG 2025 subjects have been cut down from 63 to 37.
4. Topics such as teaching ability, entrepreneurship, and law studies have been deleted from CUET UG 2025.
5. The test duration for each CUET UG 2025 exam shall be 1 hour.
6. AdmissiononabandonedtopicsinCUET UG 2025 shall be made based on general aptitude test scores.
7. There are no optional questions in CUET UG 2025.
