DCET 2024 Exam Tomorrow:

DCET 2024 will be held on 22 June 2024. Diploma CET is awarded for admission to 2nd-year undergraduate engineering programs and 1st-year undergraduate architecture programs offered under the lateral entry system. Candidates can check the DCET 2024 Exam Dates Guidelines from here.

DCET 2024 Exam: The DCET 2024 exam date is 22 June 2024. Diploma CET exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. DCET 2024 exam will be conducted with 100 marks. The DCET 2024 subjects included are engineering mathematics, statistics and analysis, IT skills, basics of electrical and electronic engineering and project management skills.

Candidates will enter the DCET 2024 exam hall from 1:40 PM to 2:00 PM. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall after the examination starts at 2:00 PM. Candidates can check the DCET 2024 Exam Date Instructions below.

DCET 2024 Exam Day Instructions

  1. Candidates will enter and sit in the examination hall after presenting their admit card and valid identity card.
  2. The observer will check the photo pasted on the entrance ticket with the ID card and the attendance of the exam.
  3. During the candidate's stay at the exam, the invigilator will check the photo printed on the admit card and name book.
  4. The invigilator distributes the OMR answer sheet to the candidates in the examination hall. Candidates must write their names on the OMR answer sheet.
  5. After that candidates have to enter the DCET number carefully and shade the corresponding circle on the OMR answer sheet.
  6. Candidates check the DCET number written on the OMR answer sheet and the DCET number printed on the admit card.
  7. The assistant principal/guard will distribute the sealed question paper packet to the room guards in the examination hall at 1:50 p.m.
  8. The invigilator opens the question packet and distributes the question booklets in the prescribed format to the candidates in the examination hall at 1:55 p.m.
  9. Only invigilators are allowed to open the seal of the question paper.
  10. Candidates should carefully write the version code of the question booklet and shade the corresponding circle in the field of the OMR answer sheet. They should also write the series of questions on the OMR answer sheet and affix their signature below the OMR answer sheet.
  11. They should also put their signature in the box at the bottom of the OMR answer sheet.
  12. Candidates are not allowed to look at the question booklet or answer the OMR answer sheet until the third bell rings.
  13. The inspector must obtain the signatures of the candidates on the roster and confirm it with an autograph

DCET 2024: Items Allowed Inside the Exam Hall

Only the following items can be brought on the day of the examination.

  1. All candidates must take an admit card.
  2. It is mandatory to obtain a valid photo ID from the authority.
  3. Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the last bell of the examination

DCET 2024 Exam: List of Prohibited Items

The candidates should ensure that they do not carry any prohibited items to the examination centre listed below.

  1. Electronic devices, mobile phones, pen drives, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices and wristwatches are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  2. Taking and eating edibles into the examination room is prohibited, and even drinking water bottles is not allowed.
  3. Drinking water will be provided at the examination centre itself.
  4. Pencil, paper, and eraser must be taken outside the examination centre.
  5. The hat should not be worn on the head.
  6. Do not wear any type of mask.
