Delhi Police are coordinating with cybercrime experts and email service providers to identify the perpetrators.
For the third day in a row, bomb threat emails have disrupted school activities across the capital, sparking anxiety among students, parents, and staff. On Wednesday morning, at least five more schools—including St. Thomas School (Dwarka), Vasant Valley School, Richmond Global School, Mother's International School (Hauz Khas), and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya (Lodi Estate)—received fake emails warning of explosive devices on campus.
Following the threats, authorities quickly evacuated the affected schools and deployed bomb disposal squads, firefighters, and canine units. All locations underwent thorough inspections, and no suspicious objects were found.
Emergency response teams from the Delhi Police and Fire Brigade have begun investigations to trace the origin of the emails.
This wave of threats follows earlier incidents earlier this week:
Bomb threat emails were sent yesterday to St. Thomas's School (Dwarka) and St. Stephen's College (North Campus, DU), prompting evacuations and extensive searches; no explosives were found.
Earlier on Monday, similarly, threatening emails plagued the Navy Children's School (Chanakyapuri), the CRPF School (Sector 16, Dwarka), and the CRPF Public School (Rohini); all were evacuated and identified as hoaxes.
Delhi Police are coordinating with cybercrime experts and email service providers to identify the perpetrators. While no group has claimed responsibility, investigators are analyzing email headers and IP logs to determine whether the perpetrators are an individual or an organized network.
In response to the wave of bomb threats, schools across the city have strengthened their security protocols. These include checking incoming emails, conducting emergency drills, and rapid response procedures. Parents are assured that while the threats are similar to previous ones, authorities continue to take them very seriously.
