GATE 2025 Application Form Starts: Complete Registration Guide, Fees, and Eligibility

The registration window for the application form for GATE 2025 would start on August 24, 2024. Candidates who appear for this examination can check the application process and criteria before filling out the form. IIT Roorkee has recently released the GATE 2025 detail brochure.

The GATE 2025 application forms will start immediately. The registration window will open on 24 August 2024 through gate2025.iitr.ac.in and close on 26 September 2024. IIT Roorkee has issued a GATE information notice for students to get admission to the process this year.

GATE 2025 Highlights

Before candidates start clicking the online application button, it is important to know the criteria for the test. Interested candidates must follow the admission requirements of GATE 2025 and register for the exam before the due date. Here are some important GATE 2025 highlights that one must go through before applying. 

1. The dates for the exam have been announced: 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions, afternoon and evening.
2. Candidates who are in their third year or above undergraduate program and have already completed a government degree in engineering, technology, architecture, science or humanities are also eligible to appear for GATE 2025.
3. The GATE application fee is Rs.900 for female/SC/ST/PwD students and Rs.1800 for other candidates. A late fee of Rs 500 (normal registration fee) is charged for registration for late registration.
4. A candidate may appear in one or more of two examination papers. GATE 2025 two paper combinations should be chosen from the list of given sets.

The GATE application process is online and scheduled from 24 August 2024 to 26 September 2024. Candidates can check the registration process for GATE 2025 below:

1. Visit the official website of GATE.
2. Click on the application form link. Start with a new registration.
3. Fill out the details, such as name, date of birth, mobile number, etc. and complete the registration process.
4. After successful registration, candidates will get a unique registration ID and password.
5. Login using the credentials and fill out academic, personal, and communication details.
6. Submit documents as per specifications details and application fees.
7. Recheck all details and submit the application form.

Candidates should note that GOAP will only accept one email address for registration. Candidates cannot change their email ID and mobile number later once they register. So, it is important to read the instructions carefully and submit the correct information to avoid rejection of the GATE application form 2025.
