GATE 2025 Application Deadline with Late Fees Ends on October 7, 2024

IIT Roorkee will close the GATE 2025 application form with a late fee on October 7, 2024. Registrations are available on the GOAPS portal. Read below to learn more about the GATE online form.

The last date for the GATE online application form will be October 7, 2024 (Monday). Candidates interested in applying for higher degree programs or PSU jobs can fill out the application form by visiting the official website of GATE - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

How to fill out the GATE 2025 application form?

To apply for the GATE exam, candidates must register on the GOAPS portal. The mode of application form for GATE is online. GATE 2025 registration requires personal information such as name, contact details, and e-mail address to create a GATE enrollment ID and password. Using the GATE candidate login, candidates can complete and submit the GATE application form, upload documents, and pay the GATE application fee. After submitting the application form, candidates should keep a copy for reference

Information Required to Fill the GATE Application Form

The following details are required to fill out the GATE application form -

1. Address of communication (with PIN code)
2. Eligibility Degree details
3. College name and address with PIN code
4. Choice of GATE test paper
5. Choice of GATE exam cities
6. High-quality image of the candidate’s photograph as per specifications
7. Good quality image of candidate’s signature as per requirements
8. A scanned copy of valid photo ID (the same ID has to be carried to the exam hall)
9. Scanned copy of PwD certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
10. Scanned copy of the Category certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
11. Scanned copy of the Dyslexic certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
12. Net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI details for the payment 

GATE 2025 Application Form Status

Candidates who have submitted the GATE 2025 application form can check its status. To do so, candidates need to provide their enrollment ID and password. If the application form is under scrutiny, candidates should rectify their details as suggested by the GATE conducting authorities and submit it within the stipulated date. The status can be checked on the GOAPS portal.

The GATE 2025 application fee during the extended period (from October 3 to October 7, 2024) is as follows –

GATE is a national-level entrance exam conducted in English. Candidates will have the opportunity to take one or two papers. The exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
