GATE 2025 Registration Closes Today: Apply Today to Avoid Late Fees!

IIT Roorkee will close the GATE 2025 registrations without late fees ends today (September 26, 2024). Interested candidates can visit the GOAPS portal to submit the application form for the GATE 2025 examination. Read below for more details.

The GATE 2025 registrations without late fees for M.Tech, Doctoral programs, and PSUs recruitment closes today (September 26, 2024). Candidates who want to apply can visit the official website of GATE 2025 to submit their application form. However, the registrations will remain open until October 7, 2024, with a late fee of INR 500. 

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2025 Registrations

Candidates must go through the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria before filling out the GATE application form, which are as follows -

1. The candidate should be an Indian.
2. Foreign nationals who meet the required eligibility criteria can also apply for the GATE exam. 
3. Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or arts and humanities from any reputed institute/college/university.
4. Candidates in their pre-final year or final year also can apply.
5. All the candidates who are willing to fill out the application form are entitled to no age bar and no limit of attempts.

GATE 2025 Registration Process

Students can check the following steps to apply for GATE 2025, which are mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website of GATE- gate2025.iitr.ac.in
2. Register by entering your name, e-mail id, mobile number, etc. 
3. Once the registration is complete, candidates will receive an enrollment ID and password.
4. Login using the credentials and provide the necessary details
5. Upload photograph, signature, and required documents
6. Pay the GATE application fee and submit the application form.
7. Keep a copy of the registration form for future reference. 

Students who have already submitted the application form can verify their GATE 2025 application status by logging in with their credentials: Enrollment ID and password.

GATE 2025 Application Fees

In case the payment is not received, then submission of the GATE application form will not be accepted. The GATE fee payment mode is online through net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. All international master cards and visa cards are also accepted.

The GATE application fee for SC/ST/Female and PWD applicants is INR 900 for the regular period and INR 1400 for the extended period. It stands at INR INR 1800 for regular periods and INR 2300 for extended periods for other categories, which include foreign candidates.

Documents Required for GATE 2025 Application Form

Applicants must have the following documents ready before completing the GATE online form. 

1. A scanned copy of a valid photo identity card same as the ID carried to the exam hall
2. Scanned copy of the candidate's signature
3. A scanned copy of the PwD certificate, if applicable, in PDF format
4. A scanned copy of the category certificate, if applicable, in PDF format
5. Scanned copy of the dyslexic certificate, if applicable, in PDF format.

Candidates who intend to fill out the GATE application form must read the guidelines and instructions so that their application is accepted. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE examination on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in two sessions in the year 2025.
