The GATE 2026 registration deadline, including late fees, ends today (October 13). Registered students will be able to appear for the exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. To apply, registration on the GATE 2026 portal is mandatory. Students applying during this period will be required to pay an additional fee at the time of payment. The application form is online and involves several steps. Candidates are advised to read the GATE 2026 information brochure and instructions carefully.

After submitting the GATE application form 2026, candidates can check their application status on the GOAPS 2026 portal. To check the status, they will need their enrollment ID and password. Candidates who find any errors in their GATE 2026 registration form must correct them and submit them within the deadline.
The GATE 2026 correction window will open after the registration process is complete. Students can access it on the GOAPS 2026 portal using their enrollment ID and password. Through the correction window, students can make changes to their name, paper, exam center, etc. by paying a certain amount.
The IIT Guwahati GATE 2026 application form correction window is expected to open in the first week of November. The last date for making changes to the GATE exam form 2026 is November 6.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE Exam 2026) will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. The exam timings are as follows: Shift 1 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Shift 2 (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). IIT Guwahati will release the branch-wise GATE exam dates a few days before the exam.
