To apply, registration on the GATE 2026 portal is mandatory. Students applying during this period will be required to pay an additional fee at the time of payment. Steps to Apply for GATE 2026 during the Extended Period

The steps for GATE 2026 exam registration are given below:

1. Visit IIT Guwahati's official GATE 2026 website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in
2. Click on "Apply Online"
3. Register by providing your name and contact information
4. Get an enrollment ID and create a password
5. Login using your credentials and fill in the remaining details
6. Upload documents (photo, signature, and valid ID)
7. Make payment and submit the application form.
8. Save and download for future reference
