What is the GATE 2026 registration late fee amount?

The GATE 2026 registration process, including the late fee, is given below:

1. The fee for women, SC/ST, and differently-abled candidates is ₹1,500.
2. For all other applicants, including foreign nationals, the GATE late fee is ₹2,500.

During the GATE 2026 extended period, candidates will have to pay an additional fee of ₹500. Acceptable payment methods include debit cards, credit cards, UPI, and net banking.

GATE 2026 Application Under Scrutiny and Status Updates

Candidates who have submitted their application form should check their status by logging into their GATE 2026 candidate login portal. If their GATE 2026 application status appears as "Application Under Review," it means that the authorities are currently reviewing their information. Candidates are advised to keep checking their dashboard for updates.

GATE 2026 Exam Schedule and Correction Window Date

The GATE 2026 exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Successfully registered candidates will be able to appear for the exam on the given dates.
