Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 official Website. Aspiring candidates who are going to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 examinations are now able to see the exam dates and other information online.
According to dates released, the application for GATE 2026 is to start from August 25, 2025. The registration and application procedure has to be completed by September 25, 2025. A relaxed date is also offered with a late fee up to October 6, 2025.

Negative Marking |
For a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ, there will be negative marking. For a 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. For a 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ or NAT questions. There is no partial marking in MSQ. |
