HPCET 2025 Counselling Schedule Released – BTech, BPharmacy, BBA & More

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur, has published the counselling schedules for admission to various undergraduate (UG) programmes, including BTech. BPharmacy, BHMCT, BSc HMCT, BBA and BCA for the academic year 2025-26. The counseling will be done on the basis of the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025 score both online and offline mode as well, depending on the program.

With the commencement of different schedules for various categories of the BPharmacy programme, the first round of counselling for the reserved categories, which includes Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backwards Classes (OBC-Main), together with their respective sub-reserved categories and general, will start on July 15.

Subsequent to the first, the second, and the third rounds, will respectively take place on July 21 and July 25. The final day for the selected candidates to report at the institute is July 28.

Via the website (himtu.ac.in), HPTU will publish the detailed counselling procedures, choice filling, and other updates of seat allotment for each program.

HPCET BTech counselling dates 2025

The admissions to the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) program through the direct method will be done on the basis of the scores obtained in the HPCET 2025 and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.

In the first round of HPCET 2025 counselling, general, reserved, and other special categories will be conducted on July 19. The second and third rounds will be organized on July 24 and July 29, respectively. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round should confirm their report to the allotted institute by July 22. The last date for reporting to the allotted institutes by the candidates selected is July 31.

Centralized online counselling for BHMCT and BSc HMCT will begin on July 21 for reserved categories with general and other categories to be conducted on July 23. For BBA and BCA admissions, offline counseling will be offered at the Himachal Institute of Management Studies, Shahpur. Through reserved categories on July 21, other general and special categories on July 23, and the second round on July 25. The final date for reporting is July 28.
