IGNOU Assignment Submission & Admission Extended: Apply Till October 31

Students must submit handwritten assignments for each credit course before the last date.

New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for submission of assignments till October 31. This extension is open for all types of courses, ODL, online programmes, GOAL and EVBB for the TEE December 2024 exam. All assignments that have to be submitted in hard copy or soft copy have got the extension.

IGNOU has also extended the last date to apply for fresh admissions for the July 2024 academic year. Candidates willing to apply in the July 2024 session in Online Distance Learning (ODL) and Online programmes will now get another fortnight to register. Candidates can submit their assignments till October 15. Earlier, the last date to register for ODL and online programmes was September 30.

IGNOU 2024 Admission: Steps to Fill Registration Form

The steps to register for IGNOU 2024 admissions are as follows:

1. Open the official website of IGNOU ignou.ac.in
2. Click on ‘Fresh Admission’ followed by ‘Register Online’ tab available on the homepage.
3. You will see the option of ‘New Registration’ tab, click on it.
4. Fill all the required registration details
5. Set your ‘Username’ and ‘Password’
6. Fill in all the required information and upload all the required documents for the university before clicking on the submit option. 
7. With the login details received on the email id and phone number, log in using the same and fill in all the details required.
8. Select your preferred programme
9.  Submit your IGNOU registration form.
