IGNOU extends the deadline for applications to new admissions to UG and PG for the July 2021 sessio

The interested candidates can apply through the online admission portal for ODL programmes at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in till November 22.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline of new admissions for the session of July 2021 to ODL as well as on-line undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. The extended deadline for applications is not applicable for semester-based courses. Candidates can apply up to November 22nd. The interested candidates can register through the online admission portal for ODL programmes -- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The details of the programmes on offer can be accessed at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/programmes. The university earlier extended the deadline until October 25. The deadline for application has been extended multiple times throughout the year. Candidates should be aware that the date extension doesn't apply to the diploma, certificate, or postgraduate certificate of the university, as admissions to these programs is already closed.

A new applicant is required to register for a new account and provide all the information and select the program that he/she would like to study. The university offers programmes in various disciplines at master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, PG diploma and diploma, PG certificate and certificate programmes, and appreciation/awareness levels.

In the current session 2021-22, the University has announced a number of interesting programs for students as well as professional students. From Jyotish to cultural studies, and studying Urdu to Sanskrit Sambhashan, the new courses this year are a touchstone to the very foundations of creativity and diversity.
