IISER Kolkata Cut-off 2025: Check IAT Closing Ranks for BS-MS Admission by Category

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) is preparing to conduct the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2025) and the students who will be on the merit list will be eligible for admission.

Those who have already obtained the IAT 2025 results will be able to take part in a program in which they can be awarded both a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Science (MS) degree. The admission is to the fully integrated BS-MS program.

The IISERs present in India offer a 5-year BS-BS (Bachelor of Science - Bachelor of Science) program. This year, IISER Kolkata is planning to start a dual program in computational and data sciences to which students who have had mathematics as the main subject in their class 12 studies would be eligible for admission.

To promote and integrate interdisciplinary science education and research and to create an environment for the nurturing of young talents, the Government of India has set up IISERs. The IISER IAT is the only way to get admission to these institutes. Therefore, all the admissions in these campuses are based on the marks of the IISER IAT only.

The total number of seats tentatively available for BS-MS, BS, BTech courses is 2,363. IISER Kolkata has a seat allotment of 280 from the total number mentioned above.

An updated fee structure for IISER Kolkata indicates that the BS-MS programs' fee for general, OBC-NCL, EWS students will be Rs 67,551, and SC, ST, PwD candidates will be charged Rs 18,650 for their new admissions.
