IIT Guwahati Delays GATE 2026 Admit Card Release: Revised Download Date to Be Announced Soon

IIT Guwahati Postpones GATE 2026

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) has postponed the release date of the GATE 2026 admit card. Officials made this announcement on the website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The new release date for the GATE 2026 admit card will be announced soon. Candidates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 are now awaiting the new date to download their admit cards. The GATE 2026 exam dates are February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. M.Tech candidates will be able to download their IITG GATE admit cards from the GOAPS portal once the link is activated.

The GATE admit card is a mandatory document without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination. It will contain the applicant's personal details, exam date, shift timings, and examination center information. Once released, candidates will need their enrollment ID and password to download the admit card.

Revised GATE 2026 Hall Ticket Release Date

There has been no official notification from the relevant authorities regarding a new date for the GATE 2026 admit card. However, it is expected that the GATE 2026 admit card will be released around January 7, 2026. This tentative date is based on last year's schedule, when there was a delay in the admit card release. Candidates should wait for an official announcement regarding the revised date for the GATE admit card.

How to Download GATE 2026 Admit Card?

After the GATE hall ticket is released, candidates can download it as follows:

1. Go to the website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
2. Click on GATE Candidate Login and enter your enrollment ID and password.
3. Select the Download Admit Card option.
4. Save the hall ticket and take a printout.
