The JEE Advanced 2026 exam website has gone live, and now includes the JEE Advanced 2026 exam date. See details below.
IIT Roorkee will conduct the JEE Advanced 2026 exam on May 17th. The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will be held in CBT mode across the country and in select cities outside India. The list of exam centers and the complete schedule will be available soon on jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will consist of two papers as usual. Paper 1 will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and both papers are compulsory.
The JEE Advanced 2026 website has only been updated with the exam date. Further details, such as JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility, syllabus, admission criteria, and the complete schedule, are yet to be updated.
The top 250,000 candidates from JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2026. Candidates can check their JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results to check the JEE Main 2026 cutoff for JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility. Last year, a total of 250,236 candidates qualified for JEE Advanced.

To be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam, candidates must take the JEE Main and qualify the cutoff. They must be born on or after October 1, 2001. SC, ST, and PwD candidates are given a five-year age relaxation, and these candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1996. Additionally, candidates who have passed Class 12 in 2025 or will pass in 2026 can apply for the JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who passed their Class 12 board exams in 2024 or before are not eligible.
