JEE Mains 2026 Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 application form on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to register for JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 is November 27, 2025. The application process includes registration, filling out the form, uploading documents, and fee payment.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will be held between January 21 and 30. This time, the authorities have made changes to the JEE Main 2026 registration process to simplify the application process, such as live photo capturing and Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification in the application form.
New in JEE Main 2026 Registration
All candidates must have updated copies of the following documents before starting the JEE Main 2026 registration process:
- Aadhaar Card
- UDID Card (for persons with disabilities)
- Category Certificate
- This year, live photo capture is mandatory while registering for JEE Main 2026.
JEE Main 2026 Application Process
- The first step is registration. Candidates will have to fill in the various details requested on the registration window and create a password of their choice to complete the registration. After completing the registration, candidates will receive their system-generated JEE Main 2026 application number.
- In the second step, candidates will have to fill out the application form, select the exam centers, and take a live photo by scanning a QR code using a webcam or mobile camera.
- The third step involves uploading documents such as the live photo, scanned photo, scanned signature, and a scanned copy of the identity proof (for candidates who will verify their identity through methods other than Aadhaar or DigiLocker).
- After this, candidates can proceed to the fourth step, which is paying the application fee using a credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
- In the final step, candidates will have to download an acknowledgment form, which will be generated after the successful submission of the JEE Main application fee. Download this form and keep it safe for future reference.
