JEE Mains Exam Date 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon declare the dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Examination 2026. In accordance with previous year trends, the agency will conduct the exam on the following tentative dates for the JEE Main 2026 session 1 and session 2 exams. The CBSE board had published the provisional class 10 and 12 datesheet, after which the NTA too is likely to design the JEE Mains 2026 exam dates so that they coincide with the interests of class 12 students.

NTA will announce the JEE Main 2026 exam schedule shortly on their official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per trends, the NTA will announce the JEE Main exam dates by the end of October or in November 2025.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 and Session 2 Dates

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam in the last week of January 2026, according to the exam trend. As per the provisional datesheet that CBSE has released, the board examinations will be conducted from February 17, 2026, onwards; thus, the JEE Main 2–26 session 1 exams shall be over before that to make enough time for the students to appear for other competitive exams or for their board exams and proceed with the counselling. Also, the JEE Main 2026 exams session 2 will likely begin after April 9, 2026.

NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 session 1 application form in November 2025. Session 2 forms are likely to be out by the end of February. One or both sessions can be applied for by the candidates. Results will be according to the better score if appearing in both.
