JNU UG Admission 2024: Last Day for Pre-Registration and Fee Payment Today!

New Delhi: Today is the last day for pre-registration and payment of fees for the first merit lists for Undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Qualification (COP) programs offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNU). Candidates who have applied for JNU UG 2024 admission through the University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 can reserve seats and pay the admission fee at the official website.

Students must use their application number and password to check their enrollment. For pre-registration and seat admission, candidates have to pay Rs 268 for UG courses and Rs 219 for COP courses.

According to the updated guidance plan, the university will release the second mark list on August 30. Through CUET, JNU is offering admission to BA (Honours) programmes in foreign languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology and proficiency programmes.

JNU UG Admission 2024: Fee structure

The fee structure for Indian nationals who applied to BA, BSc, and COP programmes is given below.

Foreign nationals pay a tuition fee of 1,900 US dollars per semester for science programs and Rs 1,500 for humanities and social science courses. In addition, students will be required to pay $250 in incidental charges.

JNU Admission 2024: Documents required

Students will be required to submit the following certificates and documents at the time of admission:

1. Enrolment form
2. Anti-ragging undertaking
3. Central Library application form
4. Five copies of recent passport-size photographs
5. Two sets of self-attested copies of Class 10, 12, pre-university, or an equivalent examination certificate showing the age/date of birth of the candidate
6. A character certificate from the head of the institution last attended
7. Two sets of self-attested copies of the statement of marks obtained by the candidate and passing certificate/degree of senior school, bachelor’s degree/master’s degree examination etc; or their equivalent examination
8. Two self-attested copies of the SC/ST/OBC certificate along with original certificates
9. Two copies of disability certificate indicating the nature and extent of physical disability
10. Two copies of income and asset certificate for the EWS category
11. Migration certificate from the head of the institution last attended
12. Discontinuation certificate from the institution if pursuing studies.
