The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the JoSAA 2024 Counseling Round 1 Seat Allocation List. The institution will announce the opening and closing order shortly today 20 June, 2024. JoSAA seat allocation for IITs is based on JEE Advanced score and for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs it is based on JEE Main score. What after the JoSAA 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment?

Candidates are allotted seats based on their JEE Advanced or JEE Main merit, preference, category and availability of seats. The candidate who has been allotted a seat has to download the original allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee. After making the payment, candidates need to verify the documents at the reporting centre. The allotment candidate can choose from any of the options namely float, freeze, or slide, as per their preference after the release of the JoSAA 2024 allocation result.
