JoSAA 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025 will be released tomorrow, June 14, at 10 am. Candidates will be allotted seats in IITs based on their JEE Advanced 2025 rank and the choices they have filled. Similarly, seats in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will be based on the choices of the candidates and their JEE Main 2025 rank. JoSAA 2025 Seat Allotment Result 2025 will be available on josaa.nic.in under their respective logins. To access the JoSAA 2025 login to check the JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2025, candidates will have to use their JEE Main 2025 application number and password. Once logged in, candidates can check their allotted course and institute.

Candidates who will be allotted seats will have time till June 18 to decide what to do with their allotment. To remain in JoSAA counselling after seat allotment, candidates must complete online reporting (seat acceptance fee payment/document upload/answer to questions by the candidate) by June 18.

1. Go to the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) at josaa.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, look for and click the link to check the JoSAA seat allotment result.
3. A new page will open where you need to enter your JoSAA 2025 application number and password.
4. After submitting the details, the seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Verify your information and save the page.
6. Download and take a printout for future reference.

JoSAA 2025 Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)

Candidates have to pay the JoSAA 2025 Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) as soon as they are allotted a seat in any round of the JoSAA counselling process. Document verification of the candidate will not be done until the candidate pays the SAF.

JoSAA Counselling 2025 Seat Confirmation - Freeze/Float/Slide

Candidates must accept the allotted seat and choose one of the following options for their academic schedule in any subsequent round of JoSAA seat allocation - 'Freeze', 'Slide', or 'Float':

1. Freeze: By selecting “Freeze”, the candidate accepts the seat offered and confirms satisfaction with the allotted academic programme. The candidate will not participate in any further rounds of JoSAA 2025 and will retain the same seat.
2. Float: Choosing “Float” means that the candidate accepts the offered seat and is open to be considered for admission to a higher preference academic programme at any institute in subsequent rounds. If no higher preference is offered, the candidate will continue with the accepted academic programme. Candidates choosing “Float” will be considered in future rounds of JoSAA 2025.
3. Slide: Selecting “Slide” means that the candidate accepts the offered seat and is open to be allotted to a higher preference academic programme within the same institute in subsequent rounds of seat allocation. Candidates choosing “Slide” will also be considered in subsequent rounds of JoSAA 2025.
