JoSAA 2025 round 5 counselling live updates: The JoSAA round 5 allotment result will be declared today, July 11, at 5 pm by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates hoping for a seat in the JoSAA round 5 will be able to access their allotment result on josaa.nic.in with their JEE Main 2025 application number and password. The candidates who are going to be allotted a seat in round 5 need to do online reporting (fee payment/seat confirmation/document upload/response by candidate to query) on or before July 14.

JoSAA 2025 seat acceptance payment for SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD candidates is INR 15,000, whereas other candidates have to pay INR 30,000.

3. A new page will open where you will need to enter your application number and password for JEE Main 2025.
4. After submitting your information, the seat allocation result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Verify your information and save the page.
6. Download and print the copy for future reference.

JoSAA 2025 Round 5 - Last Chance to Withdraw or Exit from Counselling

Observe here that the candidates who want to withdraw or exit from the JoSAA 2025 counselling can do so during round 5. There will be no withdrawal or exit facility for the IITs once round 5 is over. The withdrawal facility, however, will be provided to the NITs/IIITs/GFTIs during the last round, i.e., the round 6.

Some important rules for withdrawal or exit from JoSAA counselling:

1. The deadline for withdrawing from the JoSAA counseling program for IIT admissions is July 14.
2. The deadline for withdrawing from the JoSAA counseling program for NIT/IIIT/GFTI admissions is July 21.
3. If a candidate validly withdraws from the seat allocation process, the seat acceptance fee paid will be refunded after deducting the JoSAA withdrawal processing fee of INR 7,000.
