JoSAA 2025 Round 6 Seat Allotment OUT: Opening and Closing Ranks for IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs

The JoSAA 2025 round 6 seat allotment result has been released. Moreover, the JoSAA 2025 round 6 cutoff (JoSAA opening and closing ranks) of the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and the GFTIs will soon be available at josaa.nic.in. JoSAA 2025 Round 6 Counselling Seat Allotment

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the JoSAA counselling round 6 allotment. The candidates who have chosen slide/float in round 5 and the candidates who have not yet been allotted any seat in JoSAA can see their allotment. The JoSAA 2025 round 6 is the last round of counselling. No seat allotment after this round will be made in the IITs or the NIT+ system. But for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, the remaining vacant seats, if any, would be filled through the CSAB counselling process.

The candidates who have been alloted a seat in the JoSAA 2025 round 6 of the counselling procedure can finish the online reporting (seat acceptance, payment of fee, upload of documents/response by candidate to query) by July 20.

Note that there will be no option to float or slide the allotted seat in JoSAA round 6. The candidates will have to accept the seat allotted in this round. If no seat has been allocated in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, then the candidates can register for the CSAB 2025 counselling at csab.nic.in. There would also be no withdrawal option from the JoSAA 2025 counselling process for IITs. But, candidates who applied to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can request withdrawal up to July 21 and can answer the query of withdrawal by July 22.

Here's how to check the JoSAA 2025 seat allotment result. Students should check the following steps:

1. Go to the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) at josaa.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, look for and click the link to check the round 6 seat allotment result.
3. A new page will open where you need to enter your JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
4. After submitting the details, the seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Verify your information and save the page.
6. Download and take a printout for future reference.
