JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Tomorrow – Visit josaa.nic.in for Updates

The seat allocation for the second round of JoSAA 2025 will be released tomorrow, June 25, and significant seat movement is expected. See the seat allocation details for the second round below.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will publish the results of the second round of JoSAA 2025 tomorrow, June 25, at josaa.nic.in. Candidates who applied for float/slide promotions in the first round and those who did not secure seats in that round will be able to check their seat allocation results tomorrow for the second round. To check the JoSAA 2025 round two results, they must log in with their application number and password for JEE Main 2025.

After JoSAA 2025 Round 2 Allotment

If a place is allocated in the second round of JoSAA 2025, candidates must complete the place confirmation and online report. Place confirmation includes the option to freeze, hover, or swipe. The online report requires candidates to complete the place allocation fee payment, upload documentation, and answer questions (if required). Place confirmation and online report submissions for the second round can be completed from June 25 to 29. However, candidates will be able to answer questions, if any, until July 1.

1. Freeze means - satisfied with the allotted seat, and will confirm the seat
2. Floating means accepting the assigned spot; however, if in the next round of spot allocations, a more preferred academic program at any institution is offered admission, the candidate will accept it. Otherwise, the candidate will retain the currently accepted spot.
3. Swiping means accepting the offered spot. However, if in subsequent rounds of placements, a more preferred academic program at the same institution is offered admission, the candidate will accept it. Otherwise, they will retain their accepted spot.

Note that a seat will be confirmed only after payment of the seat allocation fee (SAF).

Additionally, after the second round of JoSAA 2025 seat allocation, the initial and final rankings for all participating universities and courses will be published. Candidates can check the JoSAA initial and final rankings on the official JoSAA website. They can view the initial and final rankings for all institutes and campuses for all quotas, categories, genders, and seat types.

Candidates wishing to withdraw from the seat allocation process may do so between June 26 and 30. The seat allocation results for the third round of JoSAA 2025 will be announced on July 3.
