Karnataka DCET 2024 Option Entry Deadline Extended

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the date for filling the counselling option for Diploma CET (DCET) 2024 till July 15. The extension was granted because applicants are allowed to appear for document verification until July 14.

Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) candidates have been admitted for DCTE counselling 2024. “As per the interim order of the Supreme Court, the candidates who have cleared the NTTF will receive their result and will be considered for seat allotment, " KEA said in an official notification. Such candidates can check their certificates from 13-14. until July Candidates who qualify the document verification can participate in the selection process and will be considered for a seat in the first round.

The examination authority has informed that working professionals who have applied for DCET 2024 will not get the professional quota for two-year engineering courses as they have not submitted the prescribed one-year service certificate. Such candidates must participate in document verification and obtain certificates to be considered as regular degree candidates. Such candidates will be ranked in order and are eligible to participate in options considered in the allocation of first-round places.
