The Karnataka NEET UG 2025 option filling/option entry process for round-1 counselling is currently underway. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), KEA is the official counselling conducting body for NEET counselling. The registration for round 1 ended on July 17, 2025. About KEA UGNEET 2025 Option Entry – Part 1

The KEA UGNEET 2025 option entry panel will display tabs of all the subjects for which the candidate is eligible.

1. Check the list of colleges and courses you want to apply in based on the eligibility.
2. Fill the options of the subject you are more interested in. For example, if a candidate is eligible for both medical and engineering, and has more interest in engineering, then he should give priority to filling maximum options for the engineering field first.
3. This will help the system to automatically find the best option as per the rank to allot the seat.

Karnataka NEET UG 2025 One-time Option Entry Guideline

Please note that the options entered by the candidate for the first round will remain the same for the next round of seat allocation (i.e., till the round of vacancies). Candidates will not be allowed to enter the options again. Hence, candidates are requested to select as many options as they want before the last date expires.

The last date to enter the options is July 22, 2025 (6:00 PM). Candidates are requested to enter the options now without any delay.

KEA NEET UG 2025: Can I change options after filling the options?

Yes, candidates can change their options even after viewing the mock allotment. After the mock allotment, candidates have the option to change the priority of the options filled by them. After the mock exam result is published, candidates can add/delete/rearrange/change the options filled. The last date for changing the options is July 24, 2025.

Will KEA extend the last date for UGNEET 2025 option entry?

No, as per the notification released by KEA on July 19, the last date for Karnataka NEET 2025 option entry will not be extended again. The last date will remain July 22, 2025 (6:00 PM).
