KEA facilitated the Karnataka PGCET option admission link. On the basis of option preference, seats will be allotted to the candidates. KEA will release the mock seat allotment result soon on its official website.
Karnataka Examination Authority facilitated the PGCET option admission link on its official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates have to choose their college preference using the PGCET option entry process. Today, 6th November is the last date for Karnataka PGCET option entry. Candidates can access the Karnataka PGCET option admission window till 6 pm today. Based on the options chosen by the candidate, will release the final seat allotment result information at kea.kar.nic.in.
Every year KEA conducts a mock allotment round for clarification on the entire allotment process. Immediately after the release of the mock allotment result, candidates will be given the facility to change the order of college preferences. The Karnataka PGCET mock allotment results indicate the college that can be allotted based on the PGCET rank of the candidate. Candidates may or may not get equal college allotment in the first round. Therefore, candidates should ensure to use the facility to make changes in options after the release of the Kar PGCET mock allotment result.
Along with the Karnataka PGCET allotment results, KEA will release the PGCET cutoff rank. Candidates can find the PDF files for course-wise cutoff ranks.
KEA prepares to fill 49286 seats for MBA, MCA, ME, MTech and MARCH courses in Karnataka. Of these, 30,739 seats will be filled by 260 MBA colleges in the state. Whereas, 12,888 MCA seats will be filled in 135 colleges across the state. The remaining seats will be filled through PGCET and GATE scores for ME, MTech and MARCH courses.
KEA will probably conduct two allotment rounds for admission through Karnataka PGCET centralized counselling.
