KCET 2025 Exam Day Instructions – Timing, Dress Code & Updates

Karnataka Examination Authority will start the KCET 2025 exam today. KEA will begin the KCET 2025 test of Kannada Language at 10;30 AM. Students are required to carrry their KCET to admit card 2025 and one original photo ID proof to the Center. Students are advised to adhere to the KCET dress code. KCET 2025 exam

The Karnataka Examination Authority will start the KCET 2025 exam today at different exam centers. KEA will organize the KCET 2025 Kannada language test day for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga areas. Candidates of Exam appearing for KCET should produce their admit card of KCET 2025 and original photo identity proof to the center of examination. Students should be following the KCET dress code 2025. Students should follow KCET day of exam instruction and guidelines when they are attending the exam. KCET shift 1 examination on April 16 will be conducted for Biology papers from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM. The KCET exam shift 2 in 2025 will be conducted between 2:30 PM and 3:50 PM for Maths paper. Don't carry any banned items like a calculator, mobile, watch or other things to the KCET test center.

KCET 2025 Dress Code for Female

1. Keeping in mind regarding the weather, candidates should wear light and loose clothes.
2. There is no specific dress code for girls. They need to wear security check-friendly clothes.
3. Clothes too flashy or bright should be avoided. Good clothes such as shirts, t-shirts, pants or jeans, good ethnic wear should be opted for.
4. Simple hair is advised.
5. Candidates should not wear heavy jewelry.
6. Low-heeled slippers and sandals are suggested footwear. Shoes and boots should be avoided.
7. Any electronic devices are strictly not allowed within the examination.
8. Candidates may request the security staff at the venue for a storage facility.

KCET 2025 Dress Code for Male

1. Male candidates should wear simple and comfortable clothes.
2. There is no specific KCET 2025 dress code applicable for males; respectable clothing like t-shirts, shirts with pant or jeans and conservative traditional dress will do.
3. It is important to wear appropriate clothing during this time of the process of frisking.
4. Stuff indicating implications, if any, has to be taken out from the pockets.
5. Wearing shoes should preferably be avoided. Sandals or slippers will make good shoes.
6. As per the KCET 2025 male dress code, electronic devices are not allowed during the examination.
7. Candidates are free to request storage space from the security staff available at the venue.

KCET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

1. The candidates must read the KCET 2025 exam instructions given in the hall ticket carefully. Get the documents required one day in advance and carry them along without fail.
2. The photo and signature printed on the KCET 2025 admit card must be clear and legible.
3. The candidates must carry a valid photo identity card (Aadhaar card, Voter Id, etc.). The name on the admit card must be the same as in the photo ID card. In case of difference, candidates must carry the respective alternative. Candidates must try to reach the KCET 2025 exam centre at least 15 minutes prior to the reporting time. If one has the time, one must go to the exam center first, so as not to cause any inconvenience.
4. It is compulsory to have a ballpoint pen by itself. Two blue/black ballpoint pens are to be taken to the exam. Take only the permissible stationery items to the venue.
5. Take something light and healthy to consume, like fruits and nuts. It is better not to consume anything outside during this time.
6. Candidates are required to bring their water in a transparent bottle. If it is not allowed within the exam hall, then drinking facilities should be provided.
7. Applicants can ask the respective person at the exam center for drinking and toilet facilities if needed.
8. After candidates enter the exam hall, they should sit only in their assigned seats and pay careful attention to the instructions of the invigilator for the KCET 2025 exam.
9. An attendance sheet shall be given and it has to be filled out. Any kind of disruption is not allowed, so the candidate has to go by the codes of decorum.
10. One OMR sheet for each subject will be provided in the KCET 2025 examination. As per the regulations, candidate details need to be filled at the top i.e., name, CET number, question booklet version code, and serial number. The bottom part of the OMR sheet is reserved for answering, invigilator signature, candidate signature, and Left thumb impression. The candidates must carefully fill out the OMR sheet as altering the answer will be non-admissible. A sample of the OMR sheet is available on the official KEA website, i.e., kea.kar.nic.in.
11. Aspirants need to adhere to all the rules provided to them by the authority that conducts the examination to prevent disqualification or any kind of tension.
