KCET 2025 Rectification Link Active – Edit Verification Slip Before July 4

Candidates can now open the link for the KEA online application form 2025 edit slip at KEA's official portal in order to get and download the proper KCET verification slip 2025. As of now, the offline verification that was to be conducted between July 2 and 4 has been called off and would be conducted online for editing henceforth.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has instructed UGCET 2025 test takers that it is not necessary for them to come to the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bangalore, for verification slip corrections from July 2 to July 4, 2025. As a replacement, candidates are given an option to correct the errors in their verification slip using the KCET 2025 online correction facility available from July 1 to July 4. The KCET 2025 application form edit link has been activated on the official website. 

The move follows a case where many candidates and their parents raised their voices that some of the details in their verification slip were misprinted during "Seat Allotment Manthana" on June 28, 2025, which covered Karnataka. The documents that I analyzed showed some candidates had pressed for an online correction, as they had neither utilized the first nor the second chance.

KEA KCET 2025 application correction instructions

To access the KCET 2025 online application form edit facility to download the KCET verification slip 2025 from July 1 to 4, the candidates need to log in with their registration ID and password. The link is available at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Applicants facing problems with verifying their Caste, Income, or 371(j) eligibility should use the correction window to enter the correct RD number before they can download the new verification slip on July 5, 2025. On the same day, the notification will also be delivered digitally about the same. Kindly note that offline verification will not be encouraged at the KEA office in Bangalore.

Moreover, the category of aspirants under Clause 'a' whose particulars has not been authenticated through SATS or confirmed Kannada Medium or Rural Study but have not proved this by the colleges concerned can also upload the required papers during the later correction window.

Upon closing, the KEA would then release the dates when the KCET 2025 counseling will be taking place and it is anticipated that this will be at the beginning of August 2025. Applicants are advised that they keep all their documents and certificates ready at hand.
