Delhi University Admission 2025: Interested students will have to study 48 hours online and 12 hours offline for the certificate course on patents.
Delhi University will complete the registration process for its certificate course on patents today. The fifth batch of this course will start from September 1 in a hybrid format. The minimum eligibility for this course is to have passed class 12th or completed a graduation course in any subject. The registration started on August 2 and will end today (August 18). The fee for this course is INR 5000 per student.
Interested students will have to study 48 hours online and 12 hours offline for the certificate course on patents. 100 students can be admitted in this batch per year in multiple batches. The duration of the patent course is three months with two-hour classes on Saturdays and Sundays.

Meanwhile, Delhi University has been awarded the highest NAAC accreditation grade A++ with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.55 in the second cycle of assessment. The accreditation, announced on August 8, will be valid for five years, till 2029. In the previous cycle held in 2018, DU had secured an A+ grade with a CGPA of 3.28.
The university said the improved score reflects its continued focus on quality improvement, innovation in teaching and research, and strong institutional governance. Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh termed the recognition as a "historic moment" in the history of DU and said it was a matter of pride for the entire university.
