The Maharashtra Directorate of Education (Secondary and Senior High School) has revised the admission dates for the third round of 2025 for First Year Colleges (FYJC). According to the revised schedule, admissions for the third round of FYJC in Maharashtra will begin on July 25 and 26.
As of July 23, 13,621 new registrations had been registered for the third regular round of FYJC in 2025. Previously, students were required to confirm their admission in the third round of the admission process, which took place from July 26 to 28. According to the official statement from the Directorate, the total capacity for Year 11 intake in Maharashtra in 2025 is 2,137,550 students across 9,483 first-year colleges in the state.
For CAP admission, 410,498 students have completed the second part of their application for Grade 11 preferences, and 82,952 students have completed their preferences for minority, internal, and management quota admissions.
This year, the Board has implemented Grade 11 admissions statewide through a centralized online system. To date, 720,666 students have confirmed their admission to Maharashtra universities.
The Maharashtra Board will release the merit list along with the cut-off scores. To confirm their allotted seats during the 2025 Maharashtra Grade 11 admission process, students must visit the universities and submit the required documentation. Once the documentation is verified, they must pay the admission fee.
