Today is the last day for NEET MDS qualified candidates from Maharashtra to finish the first round of Maharashtra NEET MDS counselling 2025 of the PG dental admissions. Candidates who get qualified in the NEET MDS exam will have to complete the registration process today if they are interested in the Maharashtra NEET MDS counselling 2025.
Applicants who have appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) are only eligible to apply for counselling under 50% state quota seats in government, corporation, state and central government-aided, unaided private, and minority dental institutions.
It is the final day according to the time table to submit the application for round 1 of the Maharashtra NEET MDS counselling 2025 via the official website, medical2025.mahacet.org/NEET-PGD-2025/login. The whole process has to be completed by today, i.e. payment and the upload of necessary documents, to be considered for the seat allocation.
On the form's submission, a candidate will be required to pay a non-refundable Maharashtra NEET MDS counselling fees of Rs 3,000. The application for government dental colleges in Maharashtra without constitutional reservation has to pay Rs. 25,000, and a security deposit of Rs 1 lakh has to be paid by the candidate, if he/she is applying for a government or private college.

The State CET Cell is expected to display the Maharashtra MDS seat matrix reserved for 50% of all state quota seats today.
Out of the 50% of the seats, 15% in PG degree courses in Maharashtra government dental colleges will be set aside for staff members who are permanent and have been working for at least 3 years.
Also, 5% of the total seats in the government and govt-aided is blocked for candidates with disabilities (PWD). Further, 1% of the postgraduate seats available will be reserved for the orphan category.
"There'll be a constitutional reservation in the available state quota seats, AIQ (All India Quota) being the exception," wrote the brochure carrying the details.
