MH CET Law Counselling 2025 – Registration Process

Like any other CET, the MH CET Law counselling process can be confusing for many. Between registering for the CAP round, confirming the merit list rank, filling your choices, and confirming seat allotment, there is a lot you need to know. We have summarized the process and key events below for your reference.

First, you will be given a merit rank. This rank will decide whether you will get admission in your chosen colleges. After receiving your merit rank, you will fill in your college choices based on priority. Remember, this college list will decide where you will get admission.

Your choices and their priority order will be locked for the first two CAP rounds. If seats remain vacant, colleges may conduct a third CAP round to fill them. During the third CAP round, you will be able to fill your college choices again.

After each CAP round, colleges will allot seats to students based on their merit list rank and priority. To secure a seat, students must submit the seat acceptance fee online. The detailed description of MH CET Law counselling procedure is available below.

Do not forget to keep all your required documents and their copies ready before going for the offline MH CET Law counselling process. Here is a consolidated list of documents that you need to submit:

1. Keep digital and attested copies of each document ready.
2. Your MH CET Law admit card and official scorecard.
3. A copy of your merit list rank.
4. 10th and 12th mark sheets.
5. College transcript (for 3-year LLB)
6. Graduation certificate (12th for 5-year LLB and college graduation for 3-year LLB)
7. Caste certificate (for reserved categories)
8. PwD certificate (for those applying through PwD quota)
9. Residence certificate/Birth certificate (for MS candidates)
10. Recent photographs (minimum 4)
