"MP Board announces exam forms for 2025–26 Class 10 & 12 to be accepted without APAAR ID. But from 2026–27 onwards, APAAR ID will be mandatory for all students."
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has made it clear that students taking the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2025–26 can submit exam forms without an APAAR ID.
The order is issued as part of a transition plan to introduce the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) system step by step under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Students and schools are provided with a grace period in 2025–26 to transition to the APAAR ID system. From 2026 onward, APAAR ID will be a mandatory requirement for Madhya Pradesh's Class 10 and 12 board exams.
The program is in line with NEP 2020's objective to develop a digital repository of learning for all students.
