NCRIE NCERT Shillong BEd Final Counselling 2025: Check Seat Allotment & Reporting Details

Candidates are required to appear in person before the Admissions Committee of this Institute on October 3rd from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. You must submit the original certificates/documents listed in columns 9 (a) to (d) below along with a photocopy of the same for verification.

Documents Required for NERIE NCERT, Shillong, Counselling

1. CEE Score Card/Result Card
2. Original School/College/Department Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate
3. Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
4. Original Marksheets - After High School
5. Original Certificates/Diplomas/Degrees - After High School (Provisional Certificate must be submitted if original is not available)
6. In case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Economically Weaker Section candidates, original Caste/Certificate from the authority authorized to issue such certificates (i.e., Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner or any other Revenue Officer). Regarding OBC Certificate, the certificate must clearly state that the candidate does not fall under the Creamy Layer.

8. Three passport-sized photographs of the candidate. Income and Asset Certificate to be submitted by Economically Weaker Section candidates
9. An affidavit issued by a Hon'ble Court/Notary Public stating that the documents, certificates, mark sheets, etc. submitted by you are genuine.
10. Separate affidavits in the prescribed format on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 20/- by the candidate and his/her parents regarding anti-ragging work must be attached/uploaded on the Institute's website.
11. For physically handicapped candidates, an original certificate issued by a competent authority not below the rank of Chief District Medical Officer is acceptable.
12. Migration Certificate - Students coming from universities other than NEHU, Shillong must submit a migration certificate within one month from the date of admission.
13. If the candidate is employed, a relieving order (P) and a medical fitness certificate issued by a government doctor not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon.
14. A photocopy of mark sheets/certificates from high school onwards, including caste/category certificates.
15. If candidates wish to reside in the Institute's hostel, they must bring two passport-sized photographs of their father/mother. Please acknowledge receipt of this letter by email to nerie.ncert1@gmail.com.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates who obtain the minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination will be considered for admission. The university/institute from which the candidate passed the qualifying examination must be recognized by the UGC.

If you do not appear for admission on the above date and time, your provisional selection for admission to the above courses will be cancelled. No request for date extension or change will be considered.

Please bring a medical fitness certificate, certified by a medical officer/authorized medical assistant, issued by the government, in the form attached/uploaded on the institute's website.

If you are finally admitted to the above course, you must immediately deposit the following amount as Institute and hostel fees on the same day:

Cash: Hostel Residents INR 29,150/-

Non-Hostel Residents INR 13,350/-

If any document submitted by you for verification is found to be forged/fake at any later stage or any information provided by you in the application form is found to be false, your admission will be cancelled. Candidates found eligible for scholarships by the Institute will be required to reside in the Institute's hostel. They will be provided hostel accommodation on priority basis.
