The National Testing Agency (NTA) usually announces the NEET 2025 exam cutoff date along with the results. The NEET 2025 exam will be available in PDF format on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The cutoff percentile for Gen candidates is 50, for Gen-PwD candidates it is 45%, and for SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates it is 40%. The NEET 2025 cutoff date is expected to be announced on or before June 14, 2025.
Nearly 230,000 candidates registered for NEET 2025. Of these, a total of 227,000 took the exam. This is lower than the previous year's 240,000 candidates. The difficulty level was higher this time. Therefore, experts estimate that the NEET 2025 cutoff score will be at least 40 to 50 points lower. More information will be provided along with the announcement of the NEET 2025 cutoff date.
This year, the NEET 2025 exam was held today, May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in an in-person format. The exam is being conducted at 5,453 centers in India and 13 cities abroad. Candidates were required to answer 180 multiple-choice questions in three hours, for a total of 720 points. The Physics and Chemistry sections consisted of 45 questions, and the Biology section consisted of 90 questions.
Candidates can calculate their chances of admission to MBBS/BDS/AYUSH seats through All India Counseling with the help of NEET College Predictor 2025, based on their rank or grades. The NEET 2025 cutoff date will be announced soon, which will help candidates better understand the minimum qualifications required.
The NEET 2025 cut-off qualifying scores are the marks required to pass the exam and qualify for MBBS/BDS admissions. The official release of the NEET 2025 cut-off marks is expected in June 2025.
