The Medical Counseling Committee, MCC, will soon declare the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate or NEET PG counseling 2024 schedule for admission to MD, MS, and other PG medical programs. The MCC NEET PG counseling registration link was activated on the MCC official portal at mcc.nic. on 20 September. Till now, the MCC has not given an announcement about the last date for registration and choice filling and the full schedule.
NEET PG counseling includes admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and postgraduate diploma courses offered through All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The counseling round under NEET PG 2024 comprises four rounds: round 1, round 2, round 3, and the AIQ wander vacancy round.
Meanwhile, the plea filed by the candidate of NEET PG against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) will be taken up in the Supreme Court on October 25. Candidates who appeared for the exam have sought direction on NBE to share answer keys, response sheets, and raw scores with the candidates. For instance, students have complained of a lack of transparency, whereby the board did not release the cut-off for NEET PG 2024 and used normalization for the first time.
There is an increase of 134 per cent in NEET PG seats from 31,185 before 2014 to 73,111 now, Union Health Minister Jap Nadda said on Sunday.
Candidates can follow the steps to register for the first round of NEET PG counseling 2024.
