NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Round-3 Choice Locking on Hold; Revised Allotment Dates Soon

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the date for the NEET PG 2025 Round 3 seat allotment results. The Round 3 counselling results will be uploaded online in PDF format. Students who submitted their choices within the given deadline will be included in the result PDF. Students were required to submit their choices for NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling by January 30, 2026.

NEET PG 2025 counselling Round 3

NEET PG 2025 counselling Round 3 is currently underway. The MCC was scheduled to release the seat allotment results for NEET PG 2025 counselling Round 3 on January 29, 2026, but it has been delayed. This is because the choice filling deadline was previously extended to January 30, 2026. According to the latest update, the MCC has suspended choice locking until further notice. The seat allotment results will be uploaded online in PDF format. Students will have to download the seat allotment results from the official MCC website. On January 28, the MCC released a revised deadline for Round 3 choice filling. The MCC had released the updated seat matrix on January 23, 2026.

NEET PG 2025 cutoff revised

Initially, the NBE revised the NEET PG 2025 cutoff for each category. The cutoff was revised to allow more students to be eligible for the counseling rounds. After Round 3 of the MCC NEET PG counseling 2025, approximately 18,000 seats remained vacant. Following this, the NBE further lowered the cutoff for the SC/ST categories to the 0th percentile and a score of -40, which sparked considerable controversy. At the time of reporting, students must bring the following documents along with their allotment letter:

1. NEET PG Admit Card 2025
2. NEET PG 2025 Result/Rank Letter
3. Class X Marksheet/Birth Certificate
4. MBBS Marksheets
5. MBBS Degree Certificate
6. Internship Completion Certificate
7. Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/SMC
8. Valid, unexpired, and original photo ID proof
9. Caste Certificate
10. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable)
11. Disability Certificate (if applicable)
