NEET PG 2025 Exam Date May Be Extended – Find Out the Possible Changes

The NEET PG test was scheduled for June 15, 2025, with the official announcement by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) yet to be released, with application dates and other information likely to follow shortly.

The NEET PG 2025 exam dates might be extended as a result of the continuing delay in the stray round counselling of NEET PG 2024, according to a tweet by the All India Students Dental Association.

Earlier, the National Medical Commission (NMC) issued a December 5, 2024, letter that NEET PG 2025 would be conducted online for MD/MS course admissions for the year 2025-26. The exam was provisionally scheduled for June 15, 2025, and the official notification, including dates for applications and further details, was to be issued by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) soon.

NEET PG 2025 Registration Process

When the registrations begin, the applicants will need to apply on the official website, nbe.edu.in. The procedure involves:

1. Providing basic information such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number to create login credentials.
2. Log in to complete the NEET PG 2025 application form and payment of the application fee to finalize the process.
3. Downloading the admit card, which shall be released to qualified candidates.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Delays Raise Concerns

The 2024 NEET PG was rescheduled several times. It was initially scheduled to take place on July 7, 2024, but was advanced to June 23, 2024, unexpectedly. It was then cancelled just 10 hours before it was supposed to be held. The exam finally happened on August 11, 2024.

Now, almost six months on, the counselling process continues, and it has raised doubts among aspirants about whether NEET PG 2025 will also undergo such interruptions.

Lacking any official response from NBEMS, worried applicants resorted to social media, posting jokes and memes as a way of dealing with the uncertainty related to NEET PG 2025.

Steps to register for NEET PG 2024 Round 3 counselling

1. Go to the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
2. Select the 'NEET PG 2024 Counselling' link.
3. Provide your registration number and other necessary details.
4. Proceed and submit your desired colleges and courses.
5. Save and download the confirmation page for future use.
