NEET PG 2025 Exam-Day Guidelines

NEET PG Exam 2025: The National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 on August 3, 2025, for aspiring medical students. With only two days left before the examination, candidates must get ready with the important instructions for NEET PG exam day 2025 in order to streamline their exam experience. In order to allow students easy access, the complete instructions needed for NEET PG exam 2025 are given here.

NEET PG 2025 will be a computer-based examination for the students. It will have 200 MCQs, and the time allotted is three hours and 30 minutes. Candidates should be advised there will be negative marking for wrong answers as per NEET PG guidelines, which means your score will be reduced by one mark for each wrong option.

NEET PG Admit Card 2025 – The hall ticket will be in a two-page, colour A4 format printed back-to-back. The applicant will have to provide the admit card and identity card for verification at the reporting counter. The exam centre officials will inform the candidates of their allotted lab number after scanning the QR code printed on the NEET PG admit card.

Reporting counter - Entry will close at 8:30 am. Candidates arriving at the examination centre after the specified time will not be permitted to take the exam. The board will clearly state that reporting counter and the main gate of the examination centre may be spaced apart, so students should arrive at the examination centre at least an hour early.

NEET PG Dress Code 2025 - NBEMS hasn't specified a dress code for male and female candidates. However, it has specified that dressing, accessories, and jewellery will not be allowed for both genders. An example of accessories include bracelets, rings, earrings, nosepins, medals, chains, chains with pendants, pendants, mementos, badges, brooches, etc. Other unrecommended items include wallets (note: ladies purses), glasses, handbags, badges, hats, etc.

Carefully read and consider the NEET PG Exam Guidelines 2025 below:

  1. Entry into the exam hall will be allowed till 8:30 am on the day of the exam.
  2. Reach the exam centre 30-45 minutes before the reporting time on the admit card.
  3. Wear light-colour ordinary clothing, jackets or coats, and do not wear clothing that carries large buttons, brooches or badges.
  4. Abide by the dress code to avoid any entry problems in the NEET PG exam 2025.
  5. The identity of each candidate will be verified through a rigorous verification process along with the additional verification, so there is no scope for impersonation.

If any candidate is caught with the below-mentioned items in the NEET PG exam centre 2025, it will be treated as unfair means. Candidates should keep in mind that the authorities will not make arrangements for keeping the belongings of the candidate.
