New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to release the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 schedule soon. Students aspiring to pursue a PG medical degree will be able to check the MCC NEET PG 2024 counseling dates on the official website.
The NEET PG Supreme Court case will be heard on October 25. A bench led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud will hear petitions filed by several PG medical candidates who have questioned the transparency of the exam in the absence of detailed results. NEET PG 2024 candidates want the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to release the NEET PG answer key 2024, response sheets of candidates and raw marks.
The MCC will conduct the NEET PG counselling in four rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. The admission process will include registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment and reporting at the institute. Detailed information will be given in the PG Information Bulletin 2024. MCC NEET PG counselling is conducted for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, DNB and PG Diploma programmes offered by government, private and deemed medical colleges across the country. Candidates who qualify for the NEET PG exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The schedule for MCC NEET PG counseling 2024 will be released soon at mcc.nic.in.
