NEET UG 2024 Re-Examination: 813 Candidates Attend Exam at Seven Centres

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET 2024 retest on June 23, 2024, for 1563 candidates who got the mark. According to the NTA, a total of 813 candidates appeared for the exam, which was conducted at seven NEET examination centres in six cities across five states and union territories.

According to NEET 2024 exam statistics, 52 percent of the candidates scored. Moreover, the voting percentage in the Chandigarh exam centre was zero. Two candidates were assigned to the centre, but both were absent. On the other hand, the Gujarat centre had 100% participation where only one candidate was scheduled for the exam.

Meghalaya exam centre had the highest number of candidates and participation. Out of 1563 candidates, 750 candidates were absent, which compares to 48 percent.

According to the candidates who appeared for the NEET 2024 re-examination, the management of the exam centres was better last time. Some found the quiz easier, while others found it harder than the original test.

NEET 2024 retest results will be declared on 30th June 2024. NTA will release a revised scorecard for all 1563 candidates irrespective of their performance in the NEET 2024 re-test. The scorecard consists of the obtained results. In the re-examination and non-appearance will receive provisional marks, which are not marks of grace. In both cases, the result card of the previous exam published on 4th June 2024 will be cancelled.
