NID DAT 2025 Registration Begins; Prelims Exam starts for January 5

New Delhi: The National Institute of Design has started the online registration process for NID Design Aptitude Test NID DAT 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the NID DAT 2025 application form at the official website - admissions. nid.edu. The deadline to apply for NID DAT 2025 is 3 December 2024 with advance payment. NID DAT Prelims 2025 will be held on January 5, 2025.

 NID DAT 2025 is an entrance exam for admission to B.Des and M.Des programs at the NID campus and other participating institutions. The exam will be conducted in primary and main stages. Candidates have to pass the preliminary exam and main exam to secure their places.

Subject to the minimum admission criteria, candidates who have passed or appeared in the Class 12 qualifying examination in the academic year 2024-25 in any stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply for B.Des projects.

For the MD, those with a three- or four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university or a full-time graduate degree in design, art, applied arts, or post-secondary architecture 12 from an NID DAT 2024 institution.

How to fill out the NID DAT application form 2025?

Students can follow the steps below to apply for the BDes and MDes programs.

1. Go to NID's official website - admissions.nid.edu.
2. In the "How to Apply" section, click on Register
3. Enter the required details and login with the generated credentials
4. Complete the application form and submit the required documents
5. Make payment the required payment and submit the form
6. Download and print the form
