NIFT Counselling 2024: Second Seat Allotment List Released

Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to pay the seat-acceptance fee before July 3, 2024 (11.59 pm).

NIFT 2024 Seat Allotment Round 2 OUT! The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) released the NIFT 2024 Seat Allotment (Round II) for undergraduate and postgraduate students today, i.e. July 1, 2024. Please note that the seat acceptance fee payment window is open on July 3 (until 11:59 pm). Candidates who have been allotted seats can download the provisional allotment letter from the admission portal using their login credentials. If the candidate does not pay the fee by the given deadline, her/his allotted seat will be cancelled and given to the next candidate in the ranking.

NIFT 2024 Seat Allotment Process

NIFT seats are based on the candidate's performance in the NIFT 2024 entrance exam, category and also the choices opted by the candidate. The following points are considered when allocating seats:

The category of the candidate.
The merit rank of the candidate in NIFT 2024.
Options selected at the time of counselling registration (combination of Campus + academic program or course).
Seat intake for the applied program.
Whether the candidate belongs to the PwD category.
Any other seat allotment rules that may be applicable.

NIFT counselling is conducted online as a centralized seat allotment process. Candidates will be selected for NIFT 2024 counselling based on their NIFT 2024 merit marks. Candidates have to pay the NIFT 2024 counselling registration fee of INR 9300 and a seat acceptance fee of INR 1,83,200 to confirm their admission. Failure to complete the registration process or meet payment requirements may result in losing an allotted seat.
