The form for registration to the NIFT UG and PG programmes is likely to be issued anytime soon. All the aspirants willing to seek admission at NIFT need to apply. 

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 

The NIFT 2026 Registration and Notification can be released at any time now on the website. The Application form will be available on the website of NIFT: nift.ac.in/admission. Candidates shall check the eligibility criteria for each programme and then apply. The NIFT 2026 application fee is expected to be around INR 3,000 for Open categories and INR 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories. The NIFT Entrance Exam is expected to be conducted in the second week of February 2026. The NIFT 2026 Information Bulletin and guidelines will also be released soon.

Documents required for NIFT 2026 Application

1. Self-attested copies of the following are required to fill the NIFT Application form.
2. Class X certificate (DOB)
3. Class XII marksheet/certificate
4. Bachelor’s mark sheet
5. Bachelor’s Degree
6. Master's Mark sheet (If applicable)
7. Master’s Degree (If applicable)
8. Score card UGC-NET, CEED, CSIR (JRF) or equivalent (If Applicable)
9. SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS certificate - as applicable

How to fill NIFT 2026 Application form?

1. Candidates have to apply for the examination as per the prescribed eligibility criteria according to the following process.
2. Sign up for the exam: The candidate has to essentially enter the Aadhaar number to register for the exam. Then, the candidate needs to enter personal information such as name, email ID, and mobile number. After successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
3. Fill up the Form: Log in to the newly created account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Exam centre selection would also be made for NIFT 2026 exam.
4. Upload documents: At this stage, you will have to upload the documents like photographs and signatures in the prescribed format.
5. Pay the application fee: The candidate has to finally pay the application fee to complete the application process
