The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the examination fee payment schedule for the April 2026 NIOS examinations for students who appeared in the October/November 2025 examinations but whose results were withheld under the RL (Result Later) tag. The last date to submit the examination fee with a late fee is February 12.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued a circular regarding the registration and examination fee payment schedule for the April 2026 NIOS examinations for students who appeared in the NIOS October 2025 public examinations but whose results were withheld under the RL tag. They can check the official website and register for the NIOS public examinations April-May 2026. They can submit the examination fee with a late fee of Rs. 1600 by February 12.
The circular states that "Students of the Senior Secondary course must ensure a mandatory two-year gap between the block/session and year of passing the Secondary examination to obtain the passing certificate. If a student does not have the required two-year gap, they can register for a maximum of four subjects (including subjects already passed) for the upcoming April 2026 examination. Therefore, students should carefully choose the subjects for which they wish to register for the examination. The required examination fee must be submitted only through online mode by visiting the NIOS website: sdmis.nios.ac.in."
