NIOS Extends TMA Upload Deadline Till 27 February

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has extended the deadline for submitting Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA). According to the latest notification, the last date for students to submit/upload their Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) without a late fee has been extended to February 27, 2026 (Friday). Students can submit their TMAs on the official NIOS website, nios.ac.in.

NIOS will release the NIOS Date Sheet 2026 in March 2026. The board is expected to conduct the NIOS Class 10 and 12 examinations in April-May 2026.

How to Upload NIOS TMAs?

Students who wish to submit their TMA online on the official NIOS website can follow the steps given below:

1. Open the official NIOS Student Portal website at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
2. Use your registered credentials to log in to your account.
3. Prepare the handwritten TMA for each subject as a PDF file.
4. From the student dashboard, click on Download/Upload TMA.
5. Select the subject for which you want to upload the TMA and choose the medium/language in which the TMA has been prepared.
6. Select the correct PDF file and click on the submit button to upload the TMA.
