PUMDET Counselling 2024: Check Round 1 Seat Allotment Results Today

NEW DELHI: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, WBJEEB will announce the seat allotment result of Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test, PUMDET 2024 counselling today, September 4. The candidates who have submitted the web options can download the PUMDET round 1 seat allotment letter through the official websites.

The PUMDET 2024 seat allotment letter can be downloaded by logging in by entering the application number and password. As per the official notification, candidates have to make payment of the Seat Acceptance Fee and report to allotted Institutes for document verification and admission between September 4 and September 6, 2024.

Candidates who have not upgraded the seat or have been allotted their first choice have to report to the concerned institute or check the website of the institute for the timings and detailed admission requirements. Candidates can download the allotment letter of PUMDET 2024 after making the payment of the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 1,000 on the official website.

PUMDET 2024 Counselling: Upgradation rule

In accordance with the official notification, if the candidate's first choice is selected, they will be automatically revoked and the candidate is required to accept admission. These applicants must choose not to upgrade, fulfil all requirements for admission, and obtain the signed hard copy reporting receipt.

The candidate may select 'YES' for upgradation in case of a seat allotment of the subject of their second choice in the provisional admission, which would leave the opportunity open for their first choice. Otherwise, they have to select NO upgrade and complete the admission formalities. By selecting NO upgrade, the candidates will not be considered for future seat allotment rounds.

In case of an upgrade, a new admission letter would be issued replacing the previous one. In case a reserved category candidate's allotment in round 1 gets cancelled during document verification, then he/she may be considered in the general category, if applicable, in further rounds.
