Schools, colleges and other educational institutions in many parts of Tamil Nadu will remain closed today, September 11, on the occasion of the 68th remembrance day of Martyr Emmanuel Sekharan. District collectors across the state have declared a holiday in schools.
According to reports, District Collector K. Pokodi has declared a holiday in schools, colleges and other educational institutions on the occasion of the 68th remembrance day of Martyr Emmanuel Sekharan. Schools will remain closed in Pramakudi and Ramanathapuram districts.
According to the press release issued by the Collector, there will be a holiday in educational institutions in Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram districts on September 11, 2025. Schools, colleges and educational institutions in Sivagangai, Thiruppuvanam, Manamadurai and Ilayangudi taluks will also remain closed on September 11. In lieu of the school holiday, schools will remain open on September 20, 2025.
Schools in Tamil Nadu will conduct half-yearly examinations for students of classes 1 to 3 from September 22 to 25, while exams for classes 4 and 5 will be held from September 17 to 29, 2025. Exams for students of classes 6 to 9 will begin from September 15 and will continue till September 26. Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be held from September 10 to 25, 2025.
